Honey Hush + New Work

Work is up at Honey Hush!
​Haley out did herself incorporating all the pieces into the display. She is magical, and I am indebted to her kindness to let me show some work in her store. I hope the new artwork will bring people to her store, make conversation and connections, and hopefully point visitors to the Lord, who has blessed us in so many ways.

When I make art, i feel at home. It is like second nature to me. The sound and friction of charcoal against the paper, the give of the canvas as the brush touches it, and the exhilaration at the end when I stand back and say, "it is finished." The process, nuances, and the prayerful hope that God uses it. What a privilege to be creating, as I think about the One who created; that we are made in His image, as creatives. Wow. What an honor and joy.

Thanks be to the Lord who has moved Haley's heart to trust and give me the opportunity to create again.
