"Arrangements in White"

verse header2.jpg

This new collection of abstract mixed media paintings have been a joy to create. Blues, grays, whites, taupe, greens, navy, gold all sing together so perfectly. These are modern colors are so classy and would be a great addition to common area, church meeting room, or dinning room. Each piece has a variety of fabric, peaks of patterns, and layers of colors to create visual interest. I used lines to create movement, which was an important element to include because our lives are moving! Moving too fast, if you ask me!

The inspiration behind these paintings has been how God holds us together and weaves elements together in our lives everyday. For this reason, I used a variety of fabric, brush strokes, lines, and patterns to demonstrate all the little parts of our lives. The color white is used to surround and support each part of the painting, just as He holds each part of our day in his hands. In knowing He is with me, and is sovereign over every area gives me such joy and peace. I hope these paintings convey truth and also peaceful beauty as they adorn your walls.

Originals and Prints are available for each!

“Rising” was inspired by the idea of a full life. Look at all the different elements surrounding and moving, yet in the middle of it all we can have peace. The active shape areas and areas of restful colors create visual balance, signifying that we also can have peaceful balance within a busy life. Remember in the middle of it all, rise up and know He is with us.

“Sing” was inspired by the verses “… Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord…rejoice in the Lord always…” I wanted to capture the lighthearted and full- hearted expression of lifting our voices to Him through this piece.
